Trash to Treasure

The other week when I was painting the Ambaa storefront, these two bistro chairs were left out in the garbage for anyone to take...so I did!

After cleaning and sanding the chairs, I used a glossy teal metal paint on the frame. When I removed the seat cushions, the foam was in great shape, it was just the vinyl that was damaged. I had found this beautiful wool blended fabric at a thrift store and had waited for the perfect project to use it. The fabric was a little plain so I decided to sew polka dots on it with brightly colored thread. (Second chair not pictured)
